THE CLUB
The Thirteenth Beach Boardriders is a community-based club with a rich history and founded in 1977.
Each year the club hosts contests along with social and informative functions. Competition divisions range from Under 8 to Over 55 along with the premier Open Women’s and Men’s divisions.
The club is an epic platform for social, development and competitive surfing all with a strong community spirit that embraces and celebrates the great surfing locations along Ocean Grove and 13th Beach.
Seasons run from July to June with the contest weekends featuring two main contest venues. Stronger competitive divisions typically surfing in the larger and more powerful waves along 13th Beach whilst the Groms and Freestyle Womens divisions surfing in more protected or organised waves.
