The first ever Wahu Surfer Groms event landed at Ocean Grove  with over 40 young surfers taking to the water, Congratulations to all of our Grommets  for doing so well, with some stand out surfing to be seen! With a tiny swell, and light onshore winds which swung offshore during the day, groms from all over the state got involved in the surfing as well as heaps of beach games thanks to Wahu.

Billy Harrison was the standout surfer of the event, winning every heat he was in and taking out both the Under 13 and Under 11 boys divisions. Harrison took out the Under 13 final in the rapidly dropping swell just under was brother Tom Harrison (who also claimed 4th in the U/15),   Ben Considine and Will Dickson finished in fourth and fifth respectively.

Fergus Willett shredding it up in the U/11 and taking out 3rd position. With Jamilla Field coming 2nd in the U/13 girls division and in the U/9 giving it all was Harry Dot and Joey Harrison coming 2nd and 3rd respectively.
